Can a member withdraw contribution from Pag-IBIG Fund?
This has been the questions oftentimes asked by members regarding its contribution with Pag-Ibig. Some are desperate enough for monetary claims on instances when they lost their jobs with no bank savings to turn to and consider Pag-IBIG Fund as the answer.
The Answer is Yes and No!!!
YES, If the member can meet the criteria set by Pag-IBIG Fund, and NO, if a member is unable to pass the qualification set by the fund. However, contribution posted will remain with Home Development Mutual Fund until such time you can attain the qualification.
BASIS for Pag-IBIG Contribution Withdrawal
There are seven (7) allowable cases wherein member contributor can withdraw contribution from Home Development Mutual Fund;

Maturity
Maturity here, refers to members continuous contribution of ten (10), fifteen (15), and twenty (20) years of active fund membership, or its equivalent of 120, 180, and 240 monthly contributions respectively.

Retirement
When a member reaches the mandatory retirement age of 65, or the optional retirement at the age of 60, or has opted to avail of his company early retirement policy for age 45.

Permanent departure from the country
A Pag-IBIG member who decided to leave the Philippines and live abroad can withdraw his contribution anytime.

Provident Pag-IBIG fund 10-years withdrawal benefit claim
Question: If a member had contributed 10 years, can he withdraw his contribution in Pag-IBIG?
Answer: Pag-IBIG Fund says that a member who had contributed 120 monthly continuous contribution WITHOUT ANY GAP, with No Existing Loan can qualify in the criteria and can avail of the PROVIDENT BENEFIT CLAIM – 10-year Maturity period, provided that members will file the Provident Benefit Claim in a Pag-IBIG Branch within one year of his 10-years anniversary as a Pag-IBIG member, but before reaching his 11th year membership anniversary.
Failure to Continue Monthly Contribution
Question: In the event that I am terminated in service and can’t pay for my monthly contribution, what will happen to the contributions I made?
Answer: Your contribution will not be forfeited, contrary to the fears of other members who lost their jobs and can not continue the monthly contribution. The contribution will remain in a member’s name until such time that you can qualify in any of the criteria above and is eligible for the Pag-IBIG contribution withdrawal.

I would like to claim my provident divident claim, the pagibig said I am not qualified to get my provident claim because I am not in the age of 60years Old, I am a member for almost 15 year, how can I pay my loan I have no work that whay I filled my provident claim to deduct my balance.
