The office of the Philippine Overseas and Employment Administration has issued a warning to all jobseekers who are aspiring for a Job abroad, not to jump on any job opportunities offered or advertised through social media or facebook.
POEA WARNING
The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration through the Officer-in-charge Mr. Bernard P. Olalia, issued the warning due to the rampant and ongoing problem of illegal recruitment on social media using fake FB accounts. Such accounts are using the logo of POEA to advertise recruitment to popular countries like the United States of America, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Germany and many more countries that are not verified nor approved by POEA.

All applicants who wants to apply for a job abroad is advised to exercise due diligence. They have to validate first with POEA the authenticity of the job offered or the agency involved in the recruitment are legitimate agencies as accredited with POEA.

Every aspiring applicant is also encouraged to prepare a detailed Resume with your qualification and Certificate of Trainings (TESDA), so if ever there is a legitimate job hiring you are all set to apply.
