Voters Registration Resumes

Good news to all Filipinos who failed to vote due to the inability to register with the Commission on Election during the previous registration schedule, COMELEC announces the resumption of the voter’s registration for 2010 polls.

The registration schedule starts from August 1 until September 30, 2019. An application may be filed from Monday to Saturday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM including holidays.

Where to File the Registration

Filing of application for registration is available at the office of the Election Officer or any Satellite registration site in your locality.

Who May Register

Any Filipino citizen who has not registered yet may apply for registration provided he/she possess the following qualifications:

  • He/She must be 18 years of age on May 11, 2020, for Regular Voters
  • He/She must be 15 years old for SK
  • A resident of the Philippines for at least one(1) year prior to the election
  • And residing in the barangay he/she is to apply for registration for at least six (6) months on/or before Election Day.

Registration Requirements

An applicant must establish his/her identity upon filing. He/She must present a Valid Identification to include the following:

  1. Employees Identification Card with the signature of the employer or an authorized representative;
  2. Postal ID;
  3. Drivers License;
  4. Senior Citizens ID;
  5. PWD Discount ID;
  6. Student’s ID or library card duly signed by school authorities;
  7. NBI Clearance;
  8. Passport;
  9. SSS/GSIS ID;
  10. Integrated Bar of the Philippines ID;
  11. Certificate of Confirmation issued by the National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP) or members of ICCs or IPs; and
  12. Any Valid ID

Failure of an applicant to present any of the above documentary requirements, the applicant may be identified under oath by any registered voter where he/she intends to register, or by any of his/her relatives within the fourth civil degree of consanguinity or affinity.

No registered voter or relative is allowed to identify more than three (3) applicants.
