If you are a PhilHealth member, then you have to worry no more since PhilHealth is your partner in preparation for your D-Day. With the “Benepisyong PhilHealth Para kay Nanay at Baby” Program, you are assured of the health insurance provided to us.
But if you are not yet covered by PhilHealth you better run to the nearest PhilHealth Office and Register to avail of the Health insurance they provide before you are planning to have your Baby.
Reminders to all Mothers-to-be:
- Make sure that you are updated in your PhilHealth contribution. You can check your PhilHealth status in the nearest PhilHealth office or in the Hospital/Maternity House or Puericulture Center of your choice. This is to make sure that you and your baby can avail of the benefits.
- Prepare all the documents required like the Claim Form 1 and PhilHealth ID long before your due date.
- Check on your Natal coverage and the No-Balance billing policy for the indigent, Sponsored and Kasambahay members if you decide to give birth in lying-in clinics, infirmaries/dispensaries or any public or government-run hospitals.
- Have your check-up in the first month of your pregnancy in any accredited PhilHealth institution, wherein you may receive your Pre-Natal card or Mother’s Book, and follow your doctor’s advice for a regular check-up.
- After giving birth, make sure your baby will undergo the Essential Newborn Care, Newborn Screening Test and Newborn Hearing Screening Test before you will be discharge.
- You can avail the “benepisyong PhilHealth para kay nanay at baby” every pregnancy and delivery.
“Benepisyong PhilHealth Para kay Nanay at Baby Packages:
A.Antenatal Care Package (Benepisyong pangangalaga kay nanay habang ipinagbuntis si baby)
PhilHealth Benefit –P1,500
Includes pre-natal consultation & essential health services in Hospital, Birthing Homes, Lying-in Clinics, Infirmary/Dispensaries and check-up. Check-up not beyond four (4) times as scheduled; three (3) check-ups on the first 6 months of pregnancy (1st and 2nd trimester), one check-up on the last 3 months of pregnancy or 3rd trimester.
B. Normal Spontaneous Delivery (NSD) Package (Benepisyo kay nanay sa kanyang panganganak at pagkatapos ng panganganak)
Hospital Delivery – P 5,000
Birthing Homes, Lying-in clinics, Infirmaries/Dispensaries – P 6,500
For normal delivery including post-partum care, and follow-up visits within 3 to 7 days after giving birth/delivery.
C. Maternity Care Package (MCP) Benepisyong pangangalaga kay nanay sa buong panahon ng kanyang pagbubuntis hanggang makapanganak
Hospitals – P6,500
Birthing Homes, Lying-in Clinics, Infirmary/Dispensaries – P8,000
Services for the above inclusive of Pre-natal consultation and essential health care services, Normal delivery and Post-partum care. This also includes follow-up visits within 3 to 7 days after giving birth/delivery.
D. Newborn Care Package (NCP) Benepisyong pangangalaga para sa bagong silang na sanggol
PhilHealth coverage – P1,750
Services includes:
Essential Newborn Care
Newborn screening test
Newborn hearing screening test.
